Chief Marketing Officer
Mark Palmenter is the Chief Marketing Officer at Acadia. Mr. Palmenter brings 25 years of experience in marketing, communications and business development leadership in support of our efforts to expand access to care for as many people in need as possible by elevating Acadia’s national voice and recognition as a best-in-class provider in the behavioral and mental health space. Mr. Palmenter is also Co-Chair of our Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Prior to joining Acadia, Mr. Palmenter held a variety of executive roles at Humana that align to key aspects of Acadia’s purpose-driven mission and growth strategy. He most recently served as Pharmacy & Group Marketing and Communications, Vice President, leading marketing and communications strategies in support of 7.5M Humana members across businesses representing approximately $40B in annualized revenue. During his tenure, he oversaw significant rebranding initiatives, activated segmentation strategies that accelerated membership growth though B2B and D2C marketing initiatives and instituted several digital and marketing technology experiences that have been recognized by Modern Healthcare and other industry outlets. Mr. Palmenter also served as a member of Humana’s Executive Inclusion & Diversity Council.
Prior to Humana, Mr. Palmenter served in senior marketing and business development roles at Anthem, American Express and The Procter & Gamble Company. He received his Bachelors Degree from Harvard University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
