Join us for complimentary CE presentation during the week of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the Presidential Inauguration about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), what they are, and how they impact central nervous system neurocircuitry. We will also discuss the ways the mind and body are impacted by stressors, and how stress reaction and response influence emotion.

Objectives:
● Describe what ACEs are and how they impact central nervous system neurocircuitry
● Cite how the body receives stress signals
● Determine how body, mind, emotion are impacted by stressors
● Differentiate between stress reaction and stress response and how that influences life

Speaker: Joanne Reynolds Arroyo, LPC

Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education of the Exceptional and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology.  Her  30+ years of experience as an educator and counselor in a wide array of settings serving diverse populations has culminated in being devoted to illuminating the critical role that neuropathway connections play in improving quality of life for individuals, organizations and communities.
