About the Presentation:
Dr. Martin Lajoie, PsyD (or “DocMarty” as client’s and colleagues lovingly refer to him) presents on the diversity of treatment components shown to help people not just survive but thrive beyond addiction and other commonly related mental health challenges. A magic happens when people incorporate a diversity of elements into their recovery process, including evidence based therapies; individualized social support structures and environments; and integrative health practices.
As a graduate level researcher in addiction treatment, a psychologist specializing in integrative addition recovery, and long-term active and contributing member of recovery communities himself, DocMarty draws from the latest in evidence-based treatments, ecologically valid wisdom of grass roots social support cultures and traditions, and complementary integrative health practices, to present the Miracle Tree Model.
He highlights Duffy’s Napa Valley Treatment Center as exemplary in synthesizing these elements in elegant balance to help guest’s find freedom from their active addiction and mental health challenges and to live their best life.
