Evaluation 24 hours
The Admissions Department provides assessment services, admission and referral 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A team of clinical evaluators as registered nurses, social workers and physicians will, in conjunction with the psychiatrists, are responsible for determining the need for services and proceed to complete the admission process, referral or transfer to another service as the most indicated.
Hospitalization is indicated for the stabilization of the mental condition, or alcohol or drug detox.Provides 24-hour nursing care as well as medical and therapeutic services. The hospital offers a safe and secure environment, 24 hours observation.
Provide three clinical programs, the location of the patient depends on several factors related to the symptomatology of the patient, performance status and types of precautions.
For the person who requires a structured program of therapies but not 24-hour supervision, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides an excellent treatment option.
Partial hospitalization services for adults are offered in any of our 10 clinics located throughout the island: Bayamón, Caguas, Carolina, County, Hatillo, Humacao, Manati, Mayaguez, Ponce and Rio Piedras . We also have a specialized clinic in Adolescents, located in Guaynabo , dedicated to helping youth aged 13 to 17 years old to build up their confidence and take responsibility for their behavior.
