Lanny Lang
Chief of Staff
Lanny Lang is Chief of Staff at Acadia Healthcare. In this role, Ms. Lang provides direct support to executive team members and enterprise leadership through her strategic decision-making and implementation efforts which impact the organization at all levels. She works to organize and improve complex procedures, ensuring efficiency and productivity. She also develops large-scale initiative blueprints for novel projects within the enterprise. Often managing these substantial projects from their inception to their execution, she coordinates crucial connections between varying levels of leadership and Acadia’s executives.
Prior to joining Acadia, Ms. Lang was at Humana, where she spearheaded business development and strategic analyses that drove growth across many of the company’s largest service lines. In her most recent role, Lanny helped to evaluate opportunities that launched over $225M of investment in partnerships with Heal, Dispatch Health and other innovative healthcare companies. She also supported the business case that resulted in Humana’s $715M acquisition of Enclara Hospice Pharmacy, one of the largest, contemporary acquisitions in the pharmacy industry. Prior to Humana, Ms. Lang was a member of Optum’s highly-selective, two-year Leadership Experience rotational program for high-potential, rising executives.
Ms. Lang received her undergraduate degree from The University of Chicago and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
