Acadia Healthcare’s Children’s Behavioral Solutions program is a cost-free referral assistance service designed to help children, adolescents, and their families find and select the appropriate treatment solutions to best meet their behavioral health needs. By calling our Referral Coordination Center, you can get help finding and securing the most beneficial treatment solution for your child as efficiently and seamlessly as possible.
Finding Help for Your Child
When your child or teen experiences the effects of a mental or behavioral health disorder, the situation might feel overwhelming for the entire family. Living with a behavioral health disorder might cause your child to act out in ways that are hard to understand, making it really difficult to know what to do or where to turn. Balancing work, home life, and figuring out how best to help your child with their behavioral health challenges might make you feel overwhelmed. For this reason, Acadia Healthcare offers the Children’s Behavioral Solutions program to help take the weight off of families’ shoulders so that they can focus on healing and recovery.
What Is the Children’s Behavioral Solutions Process?
Through the Children’s Behavioral Solutions program, a resource coordinator will provide you with any support and help you might need while seeking treatment solutions for your child or teen. Your resource coordinator will remain involved throughout the entire process, even after placement for your child has been secured. Some of the many behavioral health concerns for which your resource coordinator can help you seek treatment solutions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Cognitive impairment
- Conduct disorder
- Eating disorders
- Intellectual disabilities
- Mood disorders
- Self-injurious behavior
- Substance use disorders
- PTSD and trauma-related concerns
