Features of residential addiction treatment at Burkwood Treatment Center include a low staff-to-participant ratio, an individualized treatment plan for each person, individual therapy, family counseling, several types of group therapy, and regularly scheduled therapeutic recreational activities. Our treatment facility is a safe and supportive place where adults of all genders are welcome.

What Makes Burkwood Treatment Center Different?

Residential care at Burkwood Treatment Center incorporates the principles of the Making Alcoholics Anonymous Easier (MAAEZ) program and the Way of Life system. MAAEZ empowers adults to achieve sustained long-term recovery by preparing them to fully engage in 12-Step support groups after they have transitioned out of our care. The Way of Life system, which was developed specifically for individuals who receive care at Burkwood Treatment Center, introduces participants to techniques such as meditation and guided imagery.
