Acadia and Geisinger Break Ground on New Hospital

On May 7, Acadia and Geisinger held a groundbreaking ceremony for Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Danville, a new 96-bed behavioral health hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania. The state-of-the-art hospital will serve pediatric and adult patients, offering inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programming, and ECT services. It will also serve as a teaching hospital for students and residents of Geisinger’s College of Health Sciences.
